Broom making. Who knew it could be so beautiful and practical. Great job, Natasha.

No better time than pie season! Fresh from culinary class!

Our student leaders finished their first stint with Pacifica Outdoor School. They survived helping 6th graders navigate camp and made lasting friendships with students from other schools. We're so proud of them!

Armadillo is giving harvest vibes thanks to Hillcrest Orchard. Excited to decorate them come Halloween.

CELEBRATING our first graduate of the year!!!!! Melissa plans to head to RCC in the fall for welding. We couldn't be more excited to watch their journey.

Armadillo took part in The Great Shakeout - every year on October 17 at 10:17am the nation comes together to practice earthquake drills. This year our students were serenaded with "Shake it Off" as they practiced safe earthquake techniques.

Today is World Indigenous People's Day
Take the time to celebrate and educate on the indigenous people's of the world & those of Phoenix, Oregon. It is estimated that people have lived in the Rogue Valley for 15,000 years; and white settlers claimed the town only 174 years ago.

Bread baking with a little science sprinkled in. Our campus smelled SO delicious!

October 11 is National Coming Out Day!
Here at Armadillo we want you to be your authentic self!

We just ADORE when alumni come back to share their success. Rigo is now a wildland firefighter. He says the teachers pushing him to high expectations and not sugar coating the hard work needed for success - while staying positive - helped him succeed. Rigo says if he could do it again, he'd pay more attention in math class because he uses it every day at his job.

Armadillo recently got 90 new chromebooks to assist our students' learning and our students are using them wisely. Just look at those color coded notes 📑✍️

Armadillo students were invited to be trained as student leaders for outdoor school at Pacifica: Garden in the Siskiyous. We're so excited for the opportunity and being able to spend a day training in the beautiful outdoors.
